Four founders. Alfredo Romero (CEO, sales and operations from his Innova Sales Lab background), Nico Lopez (CTO, who built the platform architecture, backend, and Retell integration layer), Leandro Clerf (frontend lead, who shipped the white-label portal and design system), and Tobias Guerrero (AI lead, who built the wizard, the agent compiler, and NEXQA voice-quality validation). All four were operators before they were builders — Alfredo and Leandro ran agencies, Nico shipped voice infrastructure at scale, and Toby spent two years deep in voice-AI prompt and model selection before joining.

Why did you build a voice-AI platform instead of just being an agency?

Because the duct-tape stack does not scale past five or six clients without burning your operator. We tried running an agency on Vapi + GoHighLevel + Zapier + Stripe + Twilio + a developer for fifteen months. By client number five, half our week was tool management and reconciling billing. By client seven, the developer hours alone were eating the margin from a Business-tier customer. We built Hermes for ourselves first — multi-workspace, white-label, transparent billing, one wizard. Then we realized every operator we talked to was hitting the same wall.

What is the company structure?

Hermes is incorporated under Innova Sales Lab. Equity is split four ways across the founders. We are bootstrapped through public launch on June 6, 2026, with a Founders' Beta running from May 7 through public launch. We have no outside investors yet by design — we wanted the first version of the product to be answerable only to the operators using it, not to anyone else's roadmap pressure.

The team is distributed. Alfredo runs operations from Latin America, Nico builds from Argentina, Leandro from Brazil, Toby from the US. Hermes serves customers worldwide — operators in North America, Europe, LATAM, Australia, the UAE, and Singapore are in the Founders' Beta. The product itself is region-agnostic; phone-number provisioning depends on local carrier availability through Twilio and the operator's chosen calendar and CRM integrations.

What is the long-term vision for Hermes?

Hermes is the operating layer for the AI voice agency category. We do not believe the future is a thousand agencies each stitching Vapi + GHL + Zapier + Twilio + a custom dashboard together. We believe it is operators running their agencies on a single platform that handles voice infrastructure, multi-tenancy, billing, white-label, and CRM, so the operator can do what they are uniquely good at: selling, onboarding, and serving end-business clients. We are building that platform.

Hermes is the operating platform we wished existed when we started running AI voice agencies. Not a wrapper. Not an API. The actual operating layer, multi-workspace, white-label, transparent billing, built-in CRM.

We’re a four-person founding team. We were building voice agents on Vapi, billing on Stripe, CRM on GoHighLevel, glue on Zapier, dashboards in Notion, with a developer on retainer to keep it from collapsing every time we added a client.

At client #5 the wall hit. Every new client doubled the chaos. Margins were great on paper, terrible in practice. We’d built a successful agency that we couldn’t scale.

So we built Hermes, first for ourselves, now for every operator who’s about to hit the same wall. Public launch is June 6, 2026.
